MetroConnects Wins Trimble Excellence Award for Enterprise-Wide Problem Solving

November 18, 2025

Metropolitan Sewer Subdistrict, dba MetroConnects, is pleased to announce that it has won the Excellence Award for Enterprise-wide Problem Solving at the 2025 Trimble Asset Lifecycle Management Awards.

Held in Salt Lake City, Utah, Trimble hosted a special ceremony honoring 20 leading North American organizations during the Trimble Innovate User Conference, October 15-17.

The Trimble Asset Lifecycle Management Awards recognize organizations that demonstrate outstanding digital innovation and use technology to positively impact their industries and communities.

In 2024, MetroConnects moved its sewer permitting and new development processes from Cityworks AMS to Cityworks PLL, while continuing to use CityWorks AMS for maintenance on their assets and service requests. This transition enhanced online payments, digital submissions, inspection scheduling, and improved customer communication, resulting in a more efficient and transparent workflow.

“It’s an honor to be recognized for the enhancements we’ve made to our digital infrastructure,” said Jake Tittle, Chief Information Officer at MetroConnects. “We are committed to transforming user experience for both our team and customers, and we will continue to lead with innovation as new technologies emerge.”

The award underscores MetroConnects’ leadership in advancing digital transformation within the wastewater industry. Through forward-thinking solutions and technology-driven improvements, MetroConnects continues to set the standard for operational excellence and customer-focused service in Greenville County.
